He has been involved in all aspects of the marine industry, starting off rigging and assembling in a manufacturing facility. Mike progressed over the years to eventually become the General Manager of one the largest boat manufactures in Southern California. Mike decided he wanted to start a company for his family. A place where family and friends could work side by side for generations. After years of hard work Mike Basso Sr. and Sun Country marine have achieved their goals, winning numerous awards for Customer Service, while at the same time becoming the world's largest Chaparral dealer for eight straight years. Since it's beggining, Sun Country Marine has added many other manufacturers to our line in addition to Chaparral. These manufacturers include Robolo Boats, Luhrs Sport Fisher Boats, Sanger Boats, and Premier Pontoon Boats.
